Dr Sergey Vasiliev is now a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee, “The Netherlands and Afghanistan 2001-2021” NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies & the Netherlands Institute for Military History.

He is also one of the initial signatories of the Brussels Declaration. Russian lawyers, legal scholars, and human rights defenders are endorsing the creation of an international tribunal to investigate the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
