Admitted students: Housing webinar, enrolment and resources

This is the second newsletter from Amsterdam University College sent to the incoming student class. We have a welcome message from another community member as well as updates and information on resources that will help with your transition to university life at AUC!
You should have received information about enrolment from the AUC Admissions Office in a separate email. Please check your spam folders regularly and whitelist emails from @auc.nl, @uva.nl and @vu.nl to make sure you don't miss any vital updates.

You will receive information about your housing and the room selection process from DUWO in the next few weeks. For now, here is an updated timeline on when you can expect to take some of the steps on your way to living in the AUC residences.
- Early bird applicants room selection: 5 to 9 July
- Regular applicants room selection: 12 to 23 July
- First key pick-up moment: Monday, 2 August at 13.00

AUC will host an optional webinar about housing and moving into the student residences on Wednesday 9 June at 16.00 CEST. In this webinar, we will expand on the process of selecting your room, arriving on campus and give you the chance to ask any questions you may have.
Make sure to put the date and webinar link in your calendars!

Since you have accepted your offer, you should have received information from AUC's Admissions Office about how to begin your enrolment in Studielink and start the immigration process (if applicable). After you follow the steps outlined in the email, your enrolment in Studielink will remain pending until all of your official documents (e.g. diploma certificate) are submitted and then AUC can finalise your enrolment. If you have not received information about this or have questions about the process, please contact the Admissions Office using the link below.

If you are an international student, you will have received information from the Admissions office about starting your immigration procedure. The University of Amsterdam will contact you directly after you have started the enrolment procedure in Studielink. Check your spam folders if you have not recieved this!
The deadline to submit all your documents to the UvA and go on to next steps is 28 May 2021 (TODAY). If you have questions about submitting the documents or about the immigration procedure, please contact UvA Immigration Student Services.
