Dr Kati Cseres and Dr Or Brook have received a research grant from the Loyola University of Chicago. For their project ‘Priority Setting Discretion’, they have been selected as Non-Resident Research Fellows at the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies.

The project will explore and analyse how administrative discretion, as the core component of antitrust agencies’ priority setting powers, can be structured and controlled in order to guarantee effective competition law enforcement.

This Project builds on, and further develops the Priority Setting Project 1.0 (2019-2021) by making use of insights from political science and criminology as well as a large body of US scholarship on enforcement discretion.
