Sjors Polm recently started as a student of the ACIL research master programme. He is the last student to take the programme before it will be discontinued in 2022.
Sjors Polm, ACIL research master student 2019-2020

Before starting the research master’s, Sjors obtained undergraduate degrees in law, philosophy (cum laude), and PPLE (cum laude) at the UvA. Alongside the research master’s, he is pursuing a master’s degree in philosophy. He also works as a student-assistant for the Rethinking SLIC project and previously worked as a tutor at PPLE.
 
His interests include human rights, international criminal law, and political and legal philosophy. He is especially interested in normative and conceptual questions and how global developments challenge the way we currently think about them.
