About the Key Note Speakers:
Kari Lilja is professor (emeritus) in Organization and Management, Department of Management, Aalto University, Helsinki. He has been Member of the Board of Scandinavian Consortium, Stanford University, and Member of the Editorial Board of Organization Studies, and instrumental in developing the National Business System research program.
Jonathan Zeitlin is Professor of Public Policy and Governance, and Distinguished Faculty Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, and Academic Director of the Amsterdam Centre for European Studies (ACES, www.aces.uva.nl). He has written extensively on the EU, among others ‘EU Experimentalist Governance in Times of Crisis’, West European Politics 2016, and guest-edited special issues of the Journal of European Public Policy on ‘EU Socio-Economic Governance since the Crisis’ (2017) and ‘The EU beyond the Polycrisis?’ (2018).
David Edgerton is Hans Rausing Professor of the History of Science and Technology and Professor of Modern British History, Kings College, London. Among his books on British history are Warfare State. Britain 1920-1970, and most recently The Rise and Fall of the British Nation (2018). The New Statesman called him ‘Britain’s most exiting and arresting late-modern historian’ and that his ‘rich and compelling book … challenges many of the fundamental preconceptions of Brexiters and Remainers alike’ and the TLS ‘England’s foremost revisionist historian’.
